In the Laboratory of geophysical and industrial flows of Grenoble (LEGI), researchers have at their disposal an instrument: the largest hub in the world (fourteen feet in diameter). This unique tool allows them to model experimentally the effect of the Coriolis Force on atmospheric and oceanic flows, a major phenomena in the life of our planet. Reproduction in laboratory of a large number of natural phenomena becomes possible, as, for example, the very special case of interaction between two cyclones.
