L'urgence de ralentir

We have entered the age of globalised acceleration. Speed and instant gratification have become norms for society. People are under increasing financial and economic pressure, yet we are still trying to keep up with a rhythm which is leading us towards disaster – ecological, economic and social. However, some of us have decided not to give into the need for speed, by experimenting, individually or collectively, with concrete, local alternatives in order to ‘live better’.

Every day, all over the world, in Europe, Latin America and in the USA, or even in India, people are working towards giving meaning back to time.
