Nanoworld or Abyss

Do you know what is a carbon nanotube? No? So don’t hesitate and follow the young curious citizen who leads this film as an inquest in order to discover and understand the invisible world of the nanotcchnologies and sciences.

Nanosciences and technologies are touching a whole of investigations, fields and fabrication process working on the scale of nanometer which represents 1,000 times smaller than a hair. The aim: shape the matter atom after atom, molecules after molecule.

In order to understand the issues of this 21th century Nanoworld or Abyss penetrates into laboratories so as to interrogate researchers as in the Nanotechnologies Institute in Lyon or the bigest european complex in Grenoble: MINATEC.

Insofar as this technology creates debate, the nanoworld becames an unknown dimension which this documentary proposes to explore far away from manichaeism and catastrophism.
