Egyptian Sahara, on the West of the Nile, is the most arid region of the world. Its grand landscapes are protected from any raid because this region is of a very difficult access. We discover here traces of lakes dried up since millenniums and even, lost in thousands of kilometers of any oasis, prehistoric paintings representing enigmatic swimmers.

This exploration allows us to ask ourselves questions on the global functioning of the climate and on its link with the human life. We understand in particular thanks to which climatic turnover the Egyptian civilization was established and more widely which are the big cycles giving rhythm to the earth life.
