September 28, 2005, a world premiere: a team of Japanese scientists led by Dr Tsunemi Kobodera has successfully photographed the most mysterious of all marine animals, the Architeutix Dux, in its natural habitat. It is the largest of all giant squids, reaching up to 18 meters in length and living in depths of over a thousand meters.

This film retraces an exceptional scientific adventure... crowned by success, led by scientists impassioned enough to believe in the impossible.
