"Homeless found dead in the squat he was living in."

Every year, around 360 homeless die, not from cold but by destitution, negligence and violence. Bernard was one of them; well-known figure in Bayeux, he died at the age of 46 in and because of the street. "Mort(s) de la rue" goes back over his record to understand its breaks: childhood in foster care, work as a packer in a factory in the area, lay-off, two failed love stories, rehabilitation attempts, eviction from his home, alcoholism, life on the street, and eventualy death right in the center of the city.

Can society avoid the tragic death of those people who are rejected by it? Bernard was esteemed and taken care of by the social services up to the end.
