Decline in biodiversity: is it serious?

Lets talk about it! The great public debates by CNRS with the Musée du Quai Branly and the Mairie de Paris.

Nowadays, 36% of plant and animal species might be threatened in the longer term, a rate of extinction 100 times faster than natural rate. A this rate, humain being could find himself alone on Earth?

What are the consequences of those extinctions for human societies and environment? Experts discuss here the importance of biodiversity and the seriousness of this decline.
