The award-winning films of the 2013 Pariscience International Film Festival

After six days of screenings, we have our laureate films.

The Grand Jury, chaired by Stella Baruk, have just awarded the three prizes of the Pariscience International Competition.

The Middle School Jury, the High School Jury, and the Student Jury have also selected the best film of their competition.

Last but not least, the audience have also awarded the Audience Prize among the movies of the international competition.

After six days of screenings, the Laureates are :

Grand Prix AST - Ville de Paris

Redemption Impossible is the big winner of the international competition !

This german and austrian movie was rewarded by the Grand Prix AST - Ville de Paris and presented by the Mairie de Paris to the director and producer of the film, Claus Striger.

The Pierre-Gilles de Gennes Prize

The Pierre-Gilles de Gennes Prize was awarded to the film Super Fungi, can mushrooms help save the world? by Anne Rizzo and Thomas Sipp.

The award was presented by the CNRS to the two authors. This prize rewards a film dealing with research and spreading scientific knowledge, through an original scenario.

Buffon Prize

The Buffon Prize was awarded to the film More than Honey.

The award was presented by the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle (Paris Museum of Natural History) to the director Markus Imhoof. This prize rewards the best film about Biodiversity.

The Audience Prize

The Audience Prize was awarded to the film Super Fungi, can mushrooms help save the world? by Anne Rizzo and Thomas Sipp and to the film Hugo's brain by Sophie Révil.

The award was presented by Vincent Lamy, festival's director, to the filmmakers.

Student Prize

The Student Prize was awarded to the movie DNA Dreams by Bregtje van der Haak.

The award was presented by the Région Ile-de-France to the director Bregtje van der Haake. This prize rewards the best film of the Student Competition.

High School Jury Prize

The High School Jury Prize was awarded to the film Resurrection Science.

The award was presented by Inserm to the director Thibaut Martin. This prize rewards the best film of the High School Competition.

Middle School Jury Prize

The Middle School Jury Prize was awarded to the film Benjamin Franklin and the first balloons.

The award was presented by the CNES to the director Stéphane Bégoin. This prize rewards the best film of the Middle School Competition.
