The astronaut Thomas Pesquet becomes the patron of the Fete de la Science's 25th edition

Fête de la Science is celebrating its 25th anniversary from 8th till 16th October 2016. The astronaut Thomas Pesquet agreed to be the patron of the event, a few weeks before his departure for the International Space Station (ISS), planned in mid-November 2016.

Created in 1991 by the Ministry of Research, Fête de la science is the major annual meeting for all science fan. They organized more than 3000 free events everywhere in France, among which Pariscience Festival.

All scientific domains are approached, to better understand science and its stakes : from biodiversity to science of the universe, including human sciences or nanotechnologies.
