Why do men and women behave so differently sometimes? Is it a matter of biology: do the intellectual capacities of men differ from that of women? Masculine, feminine, the question is never neutral.
From biological research to the latest advances in the human sciences, the director turns generally accepted opinions on their head. Venturing into extreme fields, she examines any and all issues that might provide an explanation as to the development of our sexual identity: the anatomy of the brain, neuronal plasticity, the role played by chromosomes, genes and hormones, a foray into the fields of prehistory, education and psychoanalysis. Her itinerary is eclectic but never fortuitous.
