Sabrina Krief has been living in Uganda more than 10 years with chimps. As a brilliant and young primatologist, she did an amazing discovery. Chimps are able to select plants to heal. Sabrina has her own challenge : she wants to use these plants to find drugs for mutual diseases we share with our cousins. She has already shown that a plant eaten by chimps could be efficient to cure malaria, the leading cause of death in the world. However, it may be too late. Great apes are endangered by imminent extinction. That's why Sabrina travels all over Africa to make young children aware of the need to save the Great Apes. The scientist journalist Mathgieu Vidard goes in Uganda in order to meet this incredible adventurer of science and go back with her to the roots of our own family tree.
