Water is the most important element on Earth and covers more than threefifths of the surface of the Earth. Clean water is the "Blue Gold" of this 21st century, its role is fundamental for the development and sustainable environment practices.

This session will be animated by Ghislain de Marsily, hydrologist, member of the Académie des Sciences, Emeritus Professor and researcher at UPMC, and Gilles Billen, geochemist at UPMC.
